Animoto

I, Holly Spendlove, who first went to college before computers and the internet were common knowledge (I typed all of my papers for my associates degree on a manual typewriter) learned how to create a cute little video using Animoto! See my Animoto video here.

And now,  I want to brainstorm how I might use Animoto in my Spanish classroom:

1) I think the students would have fun creating Animoto videos introducing themselves and their family
    members or illustrating their likes and dislikes using the verb gustar.
2)I could use Animoto to introduce my students to Spanish speaking countries before cultural lessons.
3)I could use Animoto as a fun way to introduce or review vocabulary.
4)The students could use Animoto to tell simple stories in Spanish.
5)I could create a video using Animoto that highlights the benefits of being bilingual to show to the students to  
   motivate them to work hard in class.

Even though technology intimidates me, I LOVE IT!  I'm really excited to learn how to use it in my classroom!
